EdAid aims to raise funds to finance the educational needs, including start up, infrastructure costs and support, and initial operating expenditure of selected places of learning in developing countries.
Such projects are selected from those who will welcome on-going project reviews and audits through visits by EdAid representatives; and who will demonstrate the ability to be self-sustaining in terms of finance and work opportunities in the long term.
EdAid was formed in 2007 to build a secondary school in Kagera - a region in west Tanzania. However, after years in humanitarian aid, we have expand our work to other countires around the world that is in needs.
Our mission is to provide opportunities for Secondary and Tertiary Education in less developed countries.

Archdeacon Bernard Faull joined the Ed Aid Board in 2014. Originally from rural Taranaki he studied at St John's Theological College in Auckland and was ordained as a Priest in 1977. He served in 4 parishes in the Waikato Diocese before moving to Wellington in 1991 as Vicar of Kapiti, then Archdeacon of Kapiti before being appointed as the Diocesan Registrar and Administrator until his retirement in 2014. In 2004 he was made Archdeacon Emeritus. For 23 years he also served the community as a volunteer firefighter. Married to Hilary, they have three married adult children and seven grandchildren. He brings to the EdAid board - ministry, management and administration skills as well as a deep passion for serving Christ and the community. It is a privilege to serve with others in enabling Educational aid and support to be provided in the third world countries the board seeks to serve.
